Musician first. Engineer by experience.
THE MIX DOC was built around a simple idea: making music should be a creative, collaborative experience—not an intimidating one.
I've played guitar and drums since my teens, and my interest in recording began as a way to capture my own band's music. Over time, music production became a passion in its own right.
Early on, I had an experience recording at a commercial studio that stayed with me. Despite being prepared, I found myself nervous and hesitant to take the time I needed to deliver my best performance.
I realized that I played my best when I felt comfortable—when I could experiment, make mistakes, and try again without feeling judged or pressured.
That experience helped shape my vision for THE MIX DOC: a recording studio that feels more like home, without compromising on the quality of the recording experience.

A personal approach to making records.
I believe that capturing a great performance is just as important as having great equipment.
My goal was to create a space that combines a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere with the tools and capabilities of a professional recording studio. Carefully selected microphones, analog recording equipment, instruments, and a thoughtfully treated recording environment help make high-quality recordings possible.
My approach is hands-on and collaborative. Whether we're recording, developing an arrangement, or mixing, I encourage artists to share ideas, ask questions, and explore different possibilities.
From the first recording session through the final mix, you'll work directly with me. That continuity helps me understand your music, your goals, and the sound you're trying to achieve.
Every artist and every song is different. My goal is to help you do your best work—and make recordings we're both proud of.
