About Me
As an anesthesiologist, I frequently accompany people through the frightening journey of surgery. Life can also be frightening - or boring, or sad, or exciting - and for that journey, people need music.
I’m one of those people that lives and breathes music. If I’m not listening to, playing, or creating it, it's going to be a bad day. That's why I do what I do.
The digital age has made it possible to create music anywhere. But recording and mixing in acoustically untreated spaces without quality equipment can quickly dilute the impact your music will have on your audience. My mission is to bridge that gap and enable musicians who are as passionate about music as I am to achieve their creative goals - without the price-tag of a commercial studio.
How it started
I realized my calling for music at an early age as a guitarist and began exploring the NYC music scene with my first band when I was 13. I later transitioned to playing the drums and have played in several bands since. While I made the decision to prioritize my medical career, my passion for creating and playing gut-punching rock music never died.
I spent all of my time outside of work learning to record and mix so that I could share my band's music with the most fidelity possible. I became equally as passionate about producing music as I was in playing it, and started to record and mix other musicians as well. Over the past 10+ years, I've honed my engineering skills as I pieced together my dream studio, now located in Astoria, NYC.
I have a deep appreciation for musical talent all shapes and forms. My personal taste in music will not hinder my excitement when it comes to producing your songs, whatever the genre.
